Due to having to turn down gigs regularly with my excellent current cover band (other members in multiple bands) and knowing I could plug in another band at several venues that I have a great rapport with I am exploring starting a different band playing the vast majority of the same songs under a different name if the correct members can be found that are cool with the setlist and probably gigging around twice a month with this project. I own excellent PA system, lighting, fog machines,etc... and do all transport,set up and sound check and have excellent band practice space. Looking for local pro level Drummer, Lead Guitar, and Bass Player that have done the cover band thing plenty and understand the need to play the songs that go over well in order to be easy to book and have a lot of fun with full clubs and dance floors ! this will bring with it occasional opportunities to do fill in work with other related bands, hence the importance of a mostly shared setlist. The right players for this band will look at this setlist and say I have done 90% of these songs between my last few bands this would be easy to ramp up! Really looking to find people that already have the work in on the material so it can go way faster than trying to figure out which songs and get them collectively practiced. please utilize the respond to ad function and if it sounds like we may be on the same page we can exchange further contact info, I may be slow to respond this coming weekend due to schedule but will respond Monday if not sooner. If you have any video of yourself performing live please include it and request the same of me and I can provide videos of myself fronting bands utilizing my equipment. Would like to get members sorted out by early September, do a couple practices to ensure we have the setlist down and start gigging this fall.
