I am a 23 year old in Wichita who's always loved singing and music. After getting to see an independent band I've followed since the start live, that put the fire in my belly to try and make music with others, and hopefully start a band! I've had many influences in terms of my favorites (Clutch, Ween, various Ska bands), but I wanted to get the word out about trying to start a band. Now, my main desire would be a Ska/Ska-Punk band - not tied to one or the other, just experimenting with Ska music - but I'm flexible on genre and would be willing to work with different people for different bands, so to speak. I just want to start creating music and having fun with like-minded people, and I'm hoping to find them on a more local level! I'm definitely open to covers, especially starting out and getting a feel for each other's favorites and work. Ending up as a cover band is okay, but I'd also love to eventually branch off into original material. Please feel free to shoot me an email if you're interested!
