Carpeting Basement Stairway

We have a basement remodel underway, and need carpeting installed on the 7 steps that lead to the basement (with padding). We want to use a large piece of high quality Mohawk carpet (left over from another project) that measures 78.5 inches x 10 feet. The basement stairway needs a carpet width of 35.5 inches. The only odd thing about these stairs is that the treads do not have a 'lip'. The thread and riser are 90 degree angles. See the attached picture for more details.
