Description
We are searching for a reliable single family home, small apartment buildings, condo (residential) maintenance technician to assist in the day-to-day running of our scattered site, residential portfolio. The maintenance technician's responsibilities include performing painting, light electrical, and basic repairs. You should also be able to resolve tenants' maintenance-related queries and complaints as they arise and in a timely manner. We currently manage 300+ doors and growing rapidly. We are looking for someone to assist in both daily work orders and unit turns.
Apartment Maintenance Technician Responsibilities can include but are not limited to:
Working on doors, locks, hinges, and gates, as required.
Ability to rekey locks.
Repairing and unclogging toilets, sinks, bathtubs, showers, and exterior drains.
Troubleshooting and repairing wires, plugs, and switches.
Painting interior walls, installing blinds
Disposing of trash found in and around properties.
Scheduling repairs with vendors as required.
Apartment Maintenance Technician Requirements:
Prior experience as an residential maintenance technician or in a similar role.
HVAC, or other certifications highly valued.
Ability to stand for extended periods.
Ability to lift up to 70 pounds without assistance.
Dexterity, attention to detail and problem solving abilities.
Have a set of your own tools relevant to work that needs to be completed.
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
Available to work on weekends or after-hours, if required.
Experience with Property Management software a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
