Tiny senior dog in need of rescue

Unfortunately all I know about him is that he’s neutered and he’s about 13 y/o. I sadly don’t have much info on him besides that, I claimed him when his elderly owner was found deceased and animal control was about to be called for the dog - I knew he wouldn’t last long in a shelter due to his age. I wish I could just keep him here but my husky does NOT do well with other dogs and keeping them separated has already been a feat with my toddler in the house opening all the doors all the time. His teeth need to be cleaned from what I can tell there is a lot of build up but other than that he seems to be in great health and is a very sweet VERY cuddly happy boy. He’s also used to kids of all ages, cats, other dogs etc. I’m not asking for anything besides vet references and possibly a home check to ensure he won’t end up being used as anything other than a sweet loving pet until his day eventually comes.
