Essential Job Functions: • Construct warehouse freezers, coolers, production rooms, temperature-controlled areas, clean rooms docks, & related cold storage facilities as a team. • Will work with the following; wood, steel, metal, concrete, plastics, and composites of multiple materials. • Fits and installs window frames, doors, door frames, door hardware, interior and exterior trim using a carpenter’s level. • Installs/interlocks Insulated metal panel walls & ceilings. • Studies specifications in blueprints, sketches, or building plans to prepare project layout and determine dimensions and materials required. • Shapes or cuts materials to specified measurements, using hand tools, machines, or power saws. • Builds or repairs, doors, frameworks, floors, or other wooden fixtures used in buildings, using woodworking machines, hand tools, or power tools. • Assembles and fastens materials to make frameworks or props, removes damaged or defective parts or sections of structures and repair or replace, using hand tools. • Moves necessary materials around jobsite as assigned. • Cleans up worksite debris. • Ability to develop and update project schedules; • Erects scaffolding and ladders for assembling structures above ground levels. • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. • Responsibilities are subject to change based on production and business needs Qualifications & Requirements: • Must have good hand-eye coordination, must be able to stand, bend, kneel, lift/carry heavy objects and climb ladders. • Ability to carry/lift up to 50lbs • Travel is required, must be willing to travel. • Valid Driver’s License & Reliable transportation. • Must be able to pass the following trainings to obtain licenses: Scissor lift, Forklift, and handheld • Must adhere to company Safety and HR policies. Able and willing to work safely at heights. • Experience with measuring tools, saws and drills, as well as other construction hand and power tools. • Good verbal communication skills, great attention to detail and reliable (attendance and punctuality are paramount). • Must be safety oriented, and willing and able to work as a team and follow direction of their/the jobsite Superintendent. Foreman, Jr foreman/supervisor. Physical Requirements: • Lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling of objects and materials of up to 50lbs. • Have the ability to stand and walk for up to 8 (or more) hours a day. • Some combination of stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling. • Some tasks require the ability to perceive sounds and visual cues or signals. Environmental Exposures: Performance of essential functions may require exposure to hazardous materials/chemicals, odors, temperature, weather, noise extremes, air pollutants/air quality and traffic hazards.
