Description
A well meaning sibling bought him for my senior mother. We dearly love him and tried to make it work but he is too much puppy for her. He injures her easily with regular puppy play. We decided he needs a home that can handle him and she needs an older, calmer rescue.
At 11 weeks old he's just under 5 lbs and a pug/Chihuahua mix. He has a wrinkly face, slight underbite, slightly bow legged, and a curl tail.
He had his first shots and dewormer Thursday. He uses puppy pads and is fine in a crate but will sometimes start fussing (mild whining) if he can't see a family member. He's learning commands but needs to work on manners because he can be mouthy so he'd do best in a home with older kids who know dogs. My dog is elderly and has no patience for him because he doesn't believe in personal space so I'm not sure how he'll do around other dogs. He has tried to chase our cats so we distract him with toys and he stops.
We love him so much and will wait till we find the perfect home for him so please let me know what kind of dog experience you have and what your family life is like. There is a rehoming fee.
We live in the Yakima area.
