If you were given a “Maine coon” kitten from some young girl in a BMW, sorry, but you got scammed. She’s selling domestic long hair kittens for $500 that are very clearly not Maine coon, nor are they the same kittens as seen in the photo. She also claims they’re vaccinated and dewormed, but had absolutely no paper work on hand. It’s really sad how unethical this business is, and I feel for the kittens who are getting sold as something they are not. DO NOT BUY MAINE COONS FROM CRAIGSLIST. I saw someone who warned of this scam late last month, so I’m assuming it’s about the same people. Who knows how many kittens they’re breeding. The post got removed this morning, but I have a screenshot of the fake kitten photo in my messages.
