About Maintenance Technician Position: The Maintenance Technician will perform skilled tasks independently or as part of a team to maintain, repair, alter, or remodel buildings, offices, houses, and other agency facilities. Assignments involve numerous trades and skills, such as rough or finished carpentry, plumbing, roofing, painting, and concrete/masonry. What a Maintenance Technician Does at Resilient Health: * Perform routine maintenance, such as inspecting drives, motors, or belts, checking fluid levels, replacing filters, or doing other preventive maintenance actions. * Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs, as necessary. * Repair machines, equipment, or structures, using tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, wrenches, or equipment such as precision measuring instruments or electrical or electronic testing devices. * Assemble, install, or repair wiring, electrical or electronic components, pipe systems, plumbing, machinery, or equipment. * Perform general cleaning of buildings or properties. * Paint or repair roofs, windows, doors, floors, woodwork, plaster, drywall, or other parts of building structures. * Install equipment to improve the energy or operational efficiency of residential or commercial buildings. * Provide grounds-keeping services, such as landscaping. * Fabricate or repair counters, benches, partitions, or other wooden structures, such as sheds or outbuildings. * Determines appropriate work methods, tools and materials for work assignments. * Set up, move and repair furniture. Requirements for This Position: * High School Diploma or equivalent is required. * Experience in building maintenance and repair work preferred. * Prior training in occupational hazards and necessary safety precautions applicable to building maintenance work. * Valid driver's license. * Valid Fingerprint Clearance Card or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire. * Three-year Motor Vehicle Record that meets our auto insurance carrier's coverage requirements.
