Flying in a hot air balloon in Walla Walla! Hot air balloon festivals are amazing and the Walla Walla Balloon Stampede is an awesome event for the entire family! The event itself is free for the public to attend and takes place at Howard Tietan Park in downtown Walla Walla. You won't want to miss the hot air balloon glow on Sat night. It's an incredible experience to watch the balloons take flight each morning at sunrise. For businesses that want to sponsor a hot air balloon and fly from the festival field, they should contact the organizer of the event [email protected]. For folks who are not sponsoring a hot air balloon, but want an opportunity to fly during the festival week, Seattle Ballooning provides daily commercial hot air balloon rides and tours in the Walla Walla Valley from Sept 1st - Oct 31st. Seattle Ballooning additionally provides public and private hot air balloon rides during the week of the Walla Walla Balloon Stampede.
