In Indo-Aryan languages like Punjabi, meaningless words are sometimes added after a word for generalization purposes or to make the word more playful. In this case, Khana means food and Shana means...well...nothing. It's a made up word used to add a touch of enjoyment. So come through and let's have fun over some Khana Shana! Preet's will be supplying the food, Joya Logue's studio will be open with art, DJ Das will be on the 1s and 2s, and the wonderful crew over at Mom 'n 'em will be graciously hosting the event in their space. Dinner menu will be limited to ticketholders, so get yours quick before they're gone! ***Menu Details*** 01 Melony Gol Gappay - A.k.a. Pani Puri. A summery twist on a street food favorite. Take down each in one bite! 02 Grilled Paneer Sandwich w/ Achari Grippos - The best cheese on the planet done the Preet's way 03 Cardamom-Vanilla Kheer w/ Cacao Nibs & Paneer Rose - A classic Punjabi rice pudding, elevated for this special evening *Entire menu is vegetarian friendly Ticketholders can come as they please as food will be running all night. Joya's studio will be open upstairs from 7-8:30 pm. Tickets are required for dinner. Additional snacks and bevs will be available for all. Everyone is welcome!
