Join DCR Interpreter, Michella Alexander and DCR Bat Biologist, Elise Stanmyer to learn more about Mount Greylockâs diverse wildlife including the amazing mammal, the bat. Explore the crucial role that bats play in our ecosystem and the recent threats that have driven many species to extinction. The evening begins with a 45 minute presentation in the Visitor Center followed by a night hike to locate and observe bats in their natural habitat.
