So why didn't you mail that dribble to her? Why are you boring us? Ms. Griner is a famous female basketball player who, in the past, has disrespected our anthem, flag and country. She is now behind bars in Russia, charged with drug smuggling. Ms. Griner used here constitutional rights to protest the national anthem. Lots of American patriots do it. It's generally making a statement about unfair practices is this nation. There are lots of unfair practices to many different people. We need people to stand up and be heard anytime there is oppression of peoples rights. She had the misfortune of getting caught with a few ounces of contraband drugs.Many Americans have been jailed for years in the US with long terms for extremely small quantities of marijuana. This strict laws in America have ruined countless lives because of a very small infraction. This disproportionately affect people of color. Only recently in the US have attempts been made to right this wrong to thousands of Americans. Ms. Griner got 9 years in Russia... Does she deserve any special treatment becuase of here rank in life? NO... Should America do everything they can to secure her release. Absolutely. She's an American. There is lots of HATE going around about Ms. Griner... There is alot of hate in America about lots of things. I wish Ms. Griner the best of luck and I sure as hell hopes America realizes it's on a path to self destruction.
