Register Now!!! “An event to empower, connect, inspire, support, innovate and develop leaders in Education” Black Youth Leadership 21’s goal is to facilitate an educational leadership summit that will provide tools for educators to recognize the power of students through centering youth voice, leadership, and innovation in school-wide decision -making. Constance Jones has transformed and stabilized Chicago’s largest public charter school network, Noble Schools, by being bold and kind. With 15+ years’ experience driving innovation and change management around education, She knows how to build high performing, inclusive teams, create a winning work culture, and pivot when needed. Constance helps her team set big goals and ensure they have the tools to get there with excellent coaching and mentoring. Vondale Singleton: Vondale who is the CEO and Founder of Champs Male Mentoring was born and raised in Chicago, IL. After overcoming the death of his mother, and the imprisonment of his father. Vondale was raised by a family friend who encouraged him to stay in school At the age of 17, Vondale met a mentor that empowered him to go to college. Vondale was a 1st Generation College Graduate, earning a Bachelor of Arts, and a Master of Arts. Vondale used his gift of technology, and people skills to show empathy to young men that were in similar situations like him. Vondale have worked Elementary, High, College, in Education. Vondale believes that “salvation plus education is an unbeatable combination.” While serving as an Assistant Principal, at KIPP Tulsa, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Vondale started a Male Mentoring program called C.H.A.M.P.S. (Culturally Helping and Making Positive Success) that has been featured on ABC, FOX, NBC, USA TODAY, PBS, VOA, Huffington Post, Atlanta Black Star for leading students to create a short film that was featured as 1 of 15 out of 1,500 at the White House with President Obama, as an Official Selection of the 2nd Annual White House Student Film Festival. Recently appalled at the violence of Chicago, we created a 500 Male Conference called "Born 2 Win" featuring NBA Legend Tim Hardaway, and Host Comedian Damon Williams.
