Join The Gathering Spot for a community conversation about birthing and the black community, facilitated in partnership with Birthworks, a full-circle doula care collective for Black women based in Chicago. This conversation will include information for birthing people and their families about pregnancy and parenting, as well as explore the impact and opportunity of birthing education for the community at large. Doulas from the Chicago collective will participate alongside attendees in this event to educate as well as answer any questions to help facilitate a meaningful conversation. Open to the entire community, come with questions; we're ready to talk. Please register to help gauge a headcount for this event. We will update registrants with information on the specific doulas attending closer to the date of the event.
