This is Boomer, a 3.5 year old black lab/pitbull mix with a great personality. He is a very smart dog to the point that with some training, I think he could do simple math. I have had Boomer since he was about 1 years old and have enjoyed every waking moment spent with him. Unfortunately due to covid I had to switch jobs and now with my current schedule(12 hour days, 6 days a week) I am unable to provide him the love, attention and care he deserves. It breaks my heart to have to re-home my best friend but I know someone out there has a better ability to take care of him and in the end I just want him to live a happy life! The ideal home for Boomer would be one where there is no other animals there, no children there and lots of room to run around(he is very energetic lol). Boomer was a rescue from terrible living conditions and I believe it is due to this that he feels insecure around other animals/young children. His insecurity materializes into perceived aggression.
