The Shirley Jackson-Scott Memorial Scholarship Fund is a nonprofit organization established by her family to honor her memory and create a legacy that will memorialize her forever. The proceeds will assist and benefit prospective and current students at Winston-Salem State University. The Shirley Jackson-Scott Memorial Scholarship Fund seeks your support as a sponsor. The tournament will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at Winston Lake Golf Course in Winston-Salem, NC. It is the main fundraiser for the scholarship in memory of Shirley Jackson-Scott who passed unexpectedly on June 2, 2020. She was born and raised in Winston-Salem, NC, attended the local public schools, and graduated from Winston-Salem State University. Shirley was a lifelong learner, member of various civic and community organizations, an avid golfer who won several championship tournaments locally, regionally, and nationally. The Shirley Jackson-Scott Scholarship Fund is requesting that you include your personal or business advertisement as a Tournament Sponsor, Refreshment Tables Sponsor, or Hole Sponsor for the annual golf tournament.
