Job Shop -Blanchard or Double Disc Grinder

Purpose of job: To grind metal or plastic parts to size using a double disc grinding machine or a Blanchard grinding machine. Qualifications: The ability to speak and understand English, Spanish speaking a plus. High school graduate or equivalent. Experience in a machine shop operating grinding machines is necessary for this position. Skills: Ability to use calipers for measuring part thickness Previous experience in a job shop or desire to learn a trade Must be reliable and on time Detail oriented person Understanding measuring both American and Metric system Organizing, planning and prioritizing work Understanding customer requirements & delivery time frames Clear and precise handwriting Record work record and time Use logic & reasoning to alert manager to process problems immediately Ability to work independently and in a small group environment Physical Demands: Walking, sitting, standing, reaching, bending, lifting material.
