Did you know that only 32% of North Carolina African American students meet the UNC minimum standard? Did you know that only 26% of NC African American students are college or career ready? African American Faith Alliance For Educational Advancement (AAFAEA) will be hosting the Parents For Better Performing Schools Symposium on August 27, 2022 at 9:30AM - 2PM EST to bring awareness to the disporportionate educational gap of black and brown students. This will be a time well-known leaders partner with North Carolina parents, teachers, leaders, and general public to accelerate the student achievement outcomes for Black and Brown students, especially those who are in the 42 low-performing schools in CMS.
