Come climb, learn and discover! On October 29th She’s the Veteran will host TOUCH-A-TRUCK and a Firefighter Chili Cookoff! This event provides a hands-on opportunity to explore larger-than-life vehicles like fire trucks, law enforcement vehicles, construction equipment and much more. Hours are 10:00am-2:00pm RAIN or SHINE. Come taste and vote for the best chili as different Firehouses compete to see who’s is best! Chili Cookoff tasting is from 11:00-1:00 with the winners announced at 1:30pm. All proceeds go to benefit She’s the Veteran, a non-profit whose mission is improving mental health in the female veteran through programmatic activities and building a community.
