Stories in Power: Health Forward Foundation is partnering with Ad Astra Community Innovations Group to examine how communities have experienced power – or the lack of power – in decisions that affect their lives. Listening Circles support a guided conversation with community members to reflect on community power. The purpose of the listening circle is to tell stories that help us better understand how power in communities may be experienced, and what may be barriers and opportunities to community power. Through the listening circles, we will explore how, when, or why community members may (or may not) experience power in our communities. Co-Host: Lexington United Methodist Church https://www.lexmoumc.org/$$$: You will receive a $25 participation stipend for your time and attendance at the session. You may also receive a $10 referral stipend (per person who attends) if you refer others who participate in this event. Registration is Open!We look forward to connecting with you through Stories in Power. For additional information or to refer someone, contact Kristen Pender, Ad Astra Affiliate at 913-601-7869 or [email protected], or Jomella Watson-Thompson at [email protected]
