Beauty Beyond the Scars presents the "I Survived It" Walk-a-thon Car & Bike Expo to bring awareness against Domestic Violence. Our goal is to have 100 plus participants to walk with us in unity against Domestic Violence. We will be remembering and honoring our "fallen angels" that lost their lives to Domestic Violence and celebrating those who survived. We have included a Car and Bike Expo where you will be able to take a look at some of the hottest cars and bikes in our city.. We will meet in the lot of the Raleigh Civic Center and walk a 5K around the walking trail in unity bringing awareness to Domestic Violence. Afterwards, we will return back to the Raleigh Civic Center lot where some of the most hottest motorcycle clubs, car clubs, slingshot clubs, and more will be in attendance. We will also have amazing vendors, delicious food trucks, music, games, information about Domestic Violence, and so much more. This will be a day of honoring, remembering, and celebrating. We want to see you there. Attire: We ask that you purple it out... Wear purple (clothes, hair, shoes, etc), add purple decal to your vehicle (ribbons, streamers, banners, balloons, etc. whatever you choose) Have fun with your attire.. All proceeds go toward helping us to continue our fight against Domestic Violence and also to assist those dealing with abuse and loss.
