Need drummer for red dirt/south rock band

Anchorage AK

Description

Hey, I am an artist in Anchorage. I have an album out and one on the way. We gig normally 2 to 3 weekends a month, plus have out of state gigs planned next summer. Band has opened for big names in Country music, as well as having a fun unique show we do normally for bar gigs. We have all the equipment necessary including a kit in the rehearsal space. We need an energetic drummer. Having a back ground in rock n roll is a plus, as even though we do a lot of country, everything is rocked up and show oriented. We do mash-ups, and medeleys, as well as unique covers, and originals. As for kit in practice, I have set-up so you do not have to lug yours to every rehearsal. Vocals and writing ability is a plus but not a deal breaker. Being a dedicated musician is. I have a career, and am a single parent, so my music time is important to me. So all I ask is that you be hungry to practice and work. I currently have gigs lined up for later this year, but have cancelled the others up until Nov. So we have several months to get you up to speed on the dynamics needed for some of our show pieces. As of now its only a four piece, but I'd like to add folks in the future. I also plan on recording the new album soon, so getting in and learning those tunes will get you on the credits. Feel free to hit me up anytime. I try to meet up with folks before an audition to get a feel for them, Just helps to make sure I'm not bringing sketchy folk into rehearsals. I can do this anytime and show you our practice space. Thanks for reading and I hope to hear from yall soon. By the way we are late 20's to mid 30's. If that helps, at all, not that it matters to us. Influences: Tyler Childers, Whiskey Meyers, band of Heathens, Chris Stapleton, Jamey Johnson, Cadillac 3, Blackberry Smoke, Tim Montana, Jackson Taylor and more.
