I have a 4 year old pair of brothers looking for a new home. I will be be looking for an experienced dog owner as they have some special needs. They are about 40lbs each, and overall great dogs. They are crate trained, but share a crate as they suffer from separation anxiety. The 1st brother iris loves to sit in your lap and cuddle. The 2nd brother Rufus is a huge lover as well but due to inbreeding he has some bladder control issues. You cannot pet this dog without him releasing his bladder, it seems to be completely involuntary and never something he has been punished for. The best solution we have come up with has been keeping him in the kitchen with a baby gate, and keeping him diapered in the rest of the home. We have taught them basic commands such as sit, stay, they wait to be fed, they wait to come in or out of the house. They are both good with children (they love them) and are good with cats. (Alrhough they may give them a quick chase on 1st meeting until you reprimand them) We would much rather hold onto them a bit longer than pass them off to an ill-equipped family. They will come with their dog crate (it's the XL so they can both fit comfortably) Rehoming fee applies to cover dog crate & to be sure you are serious about these guys.
