We are seeking qualified Trailer Service and Repair technicians and day labor workers. There are positions now open at our three locations in MESA, GLENDALE, and NEW RIVER. We need day laborers for assembling trailers. Possibility to learn skills to move into a service tech position. $16 an hour for the day laborer position. Read below for more information about the trailer repair tech position. FOR IMMEDIATE HIRE! We need someone with trailer repair knowledge! This is a full-time position for a Service Tech that will assist with service repairs and maintenance. Must work efficiently, have a great work ethic with a positive attitude, and demonstrate a high sense of urgency. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: *Completing work orders, clear communication, diagnosing trailer repair needs including required parts, and accurate labor time estimates. *Accurately and efficiently performing quality repair and maintenance work on customer's flatbed, utility, or cargo trailer that meets acceptable standards within the estimated time or less. *Diagnosing fundamental mechanical and electrical problems using diagnostic equipment and experience. *Performing necessary repairs using tools and equipment. *Taking the initiative to develop a skill set to become proficient in diagnosing and repairing any unfamiliar units or equipment. *Performing preventive maintenance on company vehicles, including lubrication and oil changes. *Unloading and assembling trailers. *Conducting pre-delivery service on new and used trailers to ensure excellent working order for the customer. *Maintaining a Clean and Safe work environment and equipment on an ongoing basis, as needed, and as directed by the Lot Manager. *Able to assist in parts sales and maintaining adequate levels of parts inventory *Performing any other duties as assigned by management. Requirements: Valid AZ driver's license High school diploma Aluminum/Steel welding, MIG, and TIG (Aluminum welding isn't a must) Electrical experience Must be able to read and write in English Ability to climb stacked trailers (approx. 13ft) Ability to lift 100 lbs. Ability to use a computer ++++ Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in a mechanic shop environment. Some time may be devoted to unloading and assembling trailers requiring lifting, climbing, carrying moderate to heavyweights, and operating assigned equipment and vehicles—ability to manage multiple tasks with frequent interruptions.
