Experienced swing, jazz and blues bass player looking for work in duo, trio, or larger ensembles. Knowledge of music from the 1920's through the '60s - from Louis Armstrong and Fats Waller through the era of the Great American Songbook. Recent gigs have included: Solheim Lutheran Home (a seniors' residence); a wedding reception (Laguna Beach); an a one-nighter at the Denver Art Museum in a jazz quartet. Excellent work habits - punctual, good intonation, great-sounding bass, sober. $100 minimum.
