OP/BS Just to clarify, because the OP seems a bit confused. Democrats believe in taxing the wealthiest people MORE. Republicans believe in taxing the middle class MORE and the wealthiest less in hopes that the wealthy will trickle down their wealth across the board. Well,.. if we have learned anything since Reagan was in office, the lesson is "trickle down economics" does not work. It never has. If you give more money to the wealthiest Americans, only a portion of that wealth will trickle down to the poorest Americans. On the other hand, if you give more money to the middle class, they spend that money VERY efficiently. This consumerism benefits ALL classes. The wealthiest Americans (business owners and manufacturers of goods) benefit from consumption (people spending money) and the poorest Americans also benefit from consumerism. When the middle class shops and eats out, the poorest folks have more jobs. The certain way to combat inflation is to keep America spending dollars readily and efficiently. Don't get me wrong, I for one am not a gluttonous consumer. I try not to purchase anything that I do not need. What Reagan did and what Trump did was cut regulations and cut taxes and let the American people have freedom to grow their business and let the market work and get the scum bags in DC out of their way. These scumbags have printed and spent 3 trillion in 18 months. When you print more then you have that is inflation and it causes your dollar to be worth less. The way to fight inflation is to stop printing and spending money you idiot! And on top of that you shut down the oil companies and create a shortage and now you are paying 6 bucks a gallon. So groceries cost 10% more and gas has doubled and who does this hurt? The wealthy limosine liberals who voted for this senile old fool? Or the lower and middle class working man? And then you open the boarder to millions of low wage workers to flood the market making it harder for low income workers to find a job.
