Description
ABOUT ME: Screenwriter/artist visiting from NYC, seeking models to be part of visual tests, research and location scouting for feature-length film currently in development with Independent Spirit nominated producer and Camerimage-winning cinematographer (dislike name dropping but want to express this project is of professional, albeit a lower-budget indie).
GOAL: Create a look book of video and stills for the screenplay, that also serves as a standalone short film in its own right. Shoots will be very free form, street-style, mostly outdoor around K-town, and can range from micro-scenes with choreographed movement/some voiceover, to simple stills (color, lighting, location tests). Very brief and I can work around your schedule and open to your ideas as well.
LOOKING FOR: All types, ages, genders - no experience required, but you may be more in tune with the vibe and style if you appreciate arthouse films by the likes of Wong Kar Wai, Gaspar Noe and Sean Baker, and East Asian cinema at large. There is no budget for this leg of development (I realize this is the part I would cringe) but you will receive all high quality footage and stills resulting anything made together, which I think you'll really appreciate -- and most importantly, I'm seeking to connect with likeminded creatives who could potentially be part of the bigger picture of this and/or other LA-based film projects I have in development.
Please tell me a little bit about yourself, send some images of yourself, interests and availability if interested and we can discuss possibilities. Thank you for your time!
