Walker hound female, needs home. Would make excellent companion, as she gets along with people, other dogs, and cats. She walks beautifully on a leash and has a great time going for long walks. She’s up to date on her rabies shot and has the first (Friday will be the second) of her 5-way shots. She’s a little over a year old, has had a litter of puppies in the past, and is not currently fixed. We are hoping to place her in a loving home that will take care of that, but if a home is not found quickly enough then we will have that done for her. She would also make a great hunting dog- that’s what she was originally purchased for, but the gentleman who bought her has decided that he is too old to be running her and asked to find her a new home. She has freed several of our outside cats and does have that signature hound dog bay, and she’ll stay at the tree until the cows come home or you pull her off of it. She knows how to come home after an evening out running in the woods, but be ware that she views chickens and other types of fowl as game and has killed chickens/guineas before.
