Full Job Description- Warehouse Worker, Part-Time Position Summary The Delivery Source is a Company with a robust flow of incoming and outgoing furniture and household items. We are currently looking for a Part-Time Warehouse Worker. Located at 3723 Regent Blvd., Jacksonville, Florida 32224. Primary Functions: o Receive packages from incoming mail delivery trucks and stage for processing o Perform identification, marking of new incoming items o Perform phone calls to Customers of items to retrieve needed information o Open and inspect all new incoming items for damage, re-tape boxes. o Perform administrative paperwork that identifies items. o Stage inspected items for warehousing efforts o Assist in warehousing of processed items o Process waste as necessary Secondary Functions: o Process damaged items as they are found. o Perform other tasks as directed. Company Summary- The Delivery Source performs the function of receiving/inspecting/assembling/warehousing/delivery, and installation of Furniture and Household Wares for our Customers. It is a constant flow of work that occurs each day that requires full attention to the safety hazards that exist with this type of work. The Delivery Source is a company that continues to experience vibrant growth. Minimum Requirements • 1 year Warehouse Worker experience • Able to perform assembly of items using common hand / power tools • Previous experience in a retail or warehouse environment. • A commitment to service excellence and customer satisfaction • Solid team player with excellent interpersonal skills • Excellent communication skills, exceptional organizational ability, high attention to detail, and ability to multi-task • Must speak English • Must have reliable commute Physical Requirements • The minimum physical requirements for this position include: • Must be able to lift, lower, push, pull furniture/boxes; in excess of 50 lbs. • Ability to stand, lift, bend, twist, etc. for an extended period • Job responsibilities may change based on the needs of the business. • The work environment is inside of an open-air warehouse. Job Type: Part-time Pay: $15 per hour Schedule: • 2-3 days a week (Monday/Wednesday/Friday). Alternate schedules may be adopted. Possible additional work hours/days may be available dependent on the number of items received each week. • Work hours are from 830am-430pm each day (Monday through Friday).
