Hello all,
My husband and I own a cute little short term rental property in Charlestown, RI. We are looking for someone, starting in September, to do cleaning turnovers in between stays as well as handle any in person issues that may arise with the home. The house is a small cottage near the beach (about 560 square feet) with two beds, one bath, and an open living space/kitchen.
The cleaning includes...
- collecting and doing dirty laundry (bed linens, bathroom towels, beach towels, and kitchen towels)
- making the beds
- sanitizing surfaces
- sweeping and vacuuming floors
- thoroughly cleaning the bathroom
- checking dish-ware and cleaning as needed
- oven cleaning as needed
- fridge cleaning
- restocking soaps, toilet paper, paper towels
- generally resetting the house (ex. fluffing couch cushions, opening curtains)
- checking that the backyard is neat and things are put away
The cleaning takes around 3-4 hours depending on the person. Please note that we do not have a washer and dryer at the house, but we do have two sets of all linens. Our current PM takes one set when she goes and has a fresh set ready for the turn over.
We would like you to do three training sessions with our current property manager for which you will be compensated $50 per session. In the future, we pay $120 per turn over cleaning, but are open to discuss. If issues arise that need your time, for example we've had our PM let in the mini split guy and deal with a water pump problem, you will be additionally compensated.
If you are interested in this role please send an email introducing yourself as well as your references. Look forward to hearing from you!
