One of our two guitarists recently moved out of the area and has had to bow out of the group. We have gigs coming up and will be continuing as a trio, but we would like to bring a second guitar back into the fold. We play a mixture of everything from traditional, 1st wave Surf Instro (BelAirs, Dick Dale, Lively Ones, Ventures) on up to the Modern era (Aqua Velvets, Messer Chups, etc..) and our own set of originals. We also throw in a few vocal numbers as well. We practice once a week. We generally like to gig at least once a month, usually more in the summer. We're looking for somebody experienced and familiar with the genre. Role would really be based on your ability and what you feel comfortable with. We're looking for at someone who can play (at minimum) rhythm, but preferably leads on at least a few songs. Songwriting ability is a plus.
