Miller Brother Staffing Solutions in Lancaster, PA has the immediate need of an experienced Grain Operator for 1st shift. Pay Rate: $17/hour Shift: 1st Shift Monday-Friday (7am-5pm) **Must be okay working weekends as needed** 3- Most Important Things:Seeking candidates that are okay working in the elements and getting dirtyCandidates need to flexible with their schedule as they work tons of overtime (up to 70 hours a week on some occasions)Great work ethic and positive attitudeJob Description:To safely operate grain handling/oilseed production equipment meeting the quality and productivity requirements that ensure on time supply of safe products to the customer. Principal and Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesOperates equipment and maintains facilities involved in the handling, storage and drying of grain and other products.Will be operating forklifts and skid steers to move grain to proper locationsMust be okay using shovels to move grain and perform housekeeping of areaMaintains proper set-up, inspection and calibration of grain testing and weighing equipment per requirements and procedures.Performs routine preventative maintenance on equipment within the facility.Obtains, prepares, tests and grade grain samples from inbound and outbound shipments.Responds to customers regarding account information.Provides weighing of inbound and outbound grain shipments per requirements and procedures.Performs all work within the safety and environmental guidelines established by local, state, and federal agencies and company policies.RequirementsMust have a valid driver's license and own transportationMust be okay working in the elements. They will spend 100% outsideMust be okay getting very dirtySeeking candidates that have worked in farming, landscaping, construction, or feed mill environmentsPhysical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 70 poundsMust be physically capable of lifting, squatting, bending, twisting, and standing for the duration of the 12-hour shiftInterested or qualified candidates should submit a resume and/or contact information for consideration. #Talent
