NEED someone with Palatine library card to borrow item for me TODAY :

I'm super busy getting things ready (including my cool costume) to go to C2E2 for the next three days, and I have everything I need *except a video camera*. Palatine Library told me on the phone today they have one available to borrow, but *only* someone with a library card from Palatine Library can borrow it! (My card is from Arlington Heights, and registering it in another suburb won't make a difference.) I only need the video camera until Monday, when I can transfer all the footage off it and then return it to Palatine Library. A friend of mine who used to live in Palatine for years would borrow a camcorder for us (especially if she couldn't make it and wanted me to record what she missed) -- but she's moved since 2020, and now it's like no one I know here has a Palatine Library card! :( The convention starts tomorrow, and I *must* be on the train to Chicago before the libraries even open. If there is any way that you, or someone you know, can possibly borrow me the video camera in time for the convention, please call and/or text me ASAP at . I can share some footage afterward, give you a little cash for your time (I'm trying to save as much as I can after the price of admission)... just contact me please, and we can work something out.
