Press Brake Operators will be responsible for keeping maintenance of press brakes, paying attention to potential defects, and performing periodic checks. This position also requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling when operating machinery. It is also essential for press brake operators to have an understanding of computers, basic mathematical knowledge, and the ability to understand blueprints. This Full Time Press Brake Operator position offers an AM Day shift plus Overtime as needed and based in Livonia, MI. Candidates meeting the requirements for this Full Time Press Brake Operator position below are strongly encouraged to apply. AM Day shift available plus Overtime as needed. Responsibilities: • Safely load material according to part print • Operate hydraulic brake press • Perform repetitive bending, reaching, and lifting actions involving material weighing 1-100 pounds • Perform in-process part inspections • Meet daily production goals with zero defects • Ensure required paperwork and computer entries are complete and accurate • Immediately inform leader of any machine malfunction, production quality or safety issues • Ability to work overtime and weekends as required Shift Schedule: • AM Day shift: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm (Monday - Friday, plus Overtime as needed) Retirees and veterans are welcome Requirements: • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent • Knowledge of basic shop math • Basic Reading capability • Maintain a clean and safe department and workplace • Able to work as part of a team to ensure quality standards are met • Regular and predictable attendance is required Preferred Skills: • 1 year experience in metal fabricating plant • Experience in metal press forming and metal fabrication • Manufacturing in a fast-paced environment • Experience with gauges and calipers • Ability to read blueprints Benefits: • Overtime When Available • No Certification Required • Veteran Friendly Employer • We offer Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance after your 60 days with Performance Driven Workforce • Work with Latest Automotive Technology Performance Driven Workforce is an Equal Opportunity Employer Apply directly at WWW.PDWORKFORCE.COM Search by Job Category: 244
