Rabbit, Litter Trained and Chill

On Friday evening, two people witnessed a rabbit being dumped by someone in a blue Honda Civic. They picked it up so it wouldn’t get eaten by coyotes and I said I would watch it over the weekend. Since Monday, I’ve been trying everything to find a home for the rabbit. I cannot keep him due to my elderly cat. Since I’ve had the rabbit, she won’t eat and won’t even come in the house. She is afraid and stays on our deck. I bought him a nice kennel (no wire bottom), litter box, litter, water bottle, food, timothy hay, and treats. He is litter trained. And he is really chill, so I don't know why my cat is afraid. There is nothing at all, whatsoever, that you would need to buy for him.
