Motherwort is looking for a new drummer! We are (currently) all-female (guitars, fiddle, and bass), we all sing and write our own songs, and describe ourselves as "farm-grrrl folk-punk". We've been around for about 5 years, and have played places like the Haunt, and festivals like Grassroots and Togethernessfest. We just finished recording an album and are getting ready to release it, and have gigs lined up for the fall. We're looking for someone who can play fast punk beats but is also versatile enough to play slow folk/indie style. Our influences range from Bad Religion to the Pixies to traditional Celtic/Old Time, so there's a lot of variety.
