German Shepherd / Old English Sheepdog Puppy Parents are on premises, watchful family dogs, and not for sale. Mom is a German Shepherd and Dad is an Old English Sheepdog (AKC). Previously known as “Green,” now called Alfie. (He was picked first from a litter of 9 but it didn’t work out, (no fault of his) so he’s back with us until he finds his forever home.) He is up-to-date on all vaccinations, microchipped, and is extremely healthy and very smart. He is ready to meet his forever family and show them what a wonderful dog he is! He has been and continues to be socialized with people, kids, babies, other dogs, and cats. He’s been on a 4-wheeler on a small farm, on many neighborhood walks, has gone to dog parks, and even went to the beach! He’s very smart, loving, and adaptable, travels well, and is just such a sweetheart! He is crate trained and knows several basic commands. He’s wonderful with children and other dogs. He’s been around many cats and will follow them around but has no intentions to harm. He would enjoy a home where he’s not left alone too often, gets adequate exercise, and where there are lots of cool spots to take his naps. His mom and dad are the best dogs we could ever ask for and Alfie reflects those same qualities. The OES / German Shepherd hybrid is very rare. The quality, personality, intelligence and demeanor are hard to explain, but is really superb. This is a very friendly pup with a great personality and wonderful, balanced and confident demeanor. He will be a very strong, smart, dense, athletic, and faithful companion and is looking forward to meeting his family! Alfie was born April 27th and is 14 weeks old. He has a brother looking for his forever home, too. In the pictures, Alfie is the one wearing a harness that has dog bones. Rehoming fee applies but is flexible.
