Highway Materials, Inc. is a producer of Construction Aggregates and Hot Mix Asphalt products in Eastern Pennsylvania, with seven locations to serve our customers. Currently we are looking for: LABORERS, EQUIPMENT OPERATORS and GROUNDSPERSONS to join our team at Perkiomenville Quarry. *** URGENTLY HIRING *** LABORER and GROUNDSPERSON responsibilities include: • Plant clean up • Light to heavy mechanical maintenance to ensure constant production • Assist in plant maintenance when needed • Upkeep of plant and heavy equipment (broom & shovel work) • Maintain daily plant/heavy equipment operations • Cross Trained in other jobs Requirements include: • 10-12 hour day • Saturday work • Knowledge of OSHA regulations • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. • High School Diploma (or GED) ------------ EQUPMENT OPERATOR responsibilities include: • Operate heavy equipment and/or plant equipment from start up to shut down in a safe and productive manner- adjusting workflow as needed • Light to heavy mechanical maintenance to ensure constant production • Operate heavy equipment in a safe and responsible manner • Assist in plant maintenance when needed • Upkeep of plant and heavy equipment (broom & shovel work) • Maintain daily plant/heavy equipment operations Requirements include: • Ability to operate and maintain heavy equipment (excavator and loader experience preferred) • Basic Math skills • Knowledge of OSHA regulations • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. • Valid/Clean Driver’s License • High School Diploma (or GED) If interested, please respond to this ad with your resume, or email your resume to [email protected].
