Join local luthier and repair technician, Patrick Sundlof, to learn how to repair, construct, and assemble your own guitar electronics. Have you ever wanted to learn to repair, construct, and assemble your own guitar electronics? Now you can at Rebuilding Exchange from local luthier and repair technician, Patrick Sundlof. In this class you will assemble a basic guitar circuit from parts included in the Kits. If you have a guitar needing to be fixed Patrick can guide you through the process during the class, please be ready to send photos of the instrument.  If you have questions about the instrument you want to fix, please email [email protected].  Workshop cost $25 to learn how to assemble a basic guitar circuit. Circuit kits are available for an additional charge, but are not required to participate in the workshop.  If you choose to purchase a circuit kit, you have two options: Circuit Kit #1 (+$60): 1 Pickup (humbucker or Single Coil), Volume, Tone, Capacitor, output, and wires Circuit Kit #2 (+$80): Solder, Soldering Iron, 1 Pickup (humbucker or Single Coil), Volume, Tone, Capacitor, output, and wires ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR Patrick Sundlof has been repairing musical instruments for the past 15 years from Banjos to organs; amps to zithers he has years of experience to help you build the instrument of your dreams. STUDENT SAFETY DURING COVID Your safety is our highest priority at Rebuilding Exchange, so we have put safety protocols in place for all of our in-person workshops to keep everyone safe. Those protocols are: Reduced class sizes (no more than 7 participants per class)All instructors, assistants, and participants will be required to wear masks while attending workshops (we do not have enough masks to provide to everyone, so you will be required to provide your own mask).Instructors and participants may be required to have their temperature taken (using a touchless thermometer) prior to the start of the class.Social distancing will be implemented when possible and appropriate.Breaks will be provided during the class for handwashing.Everyone should follow recommended safety precautions, such as coughing into your elbow and refraining from touching their face.All of the tools, equipment, door handles, cabinet and drawer handles, etc. that are touched will be disinfected both before and after the workshop Workshop Policies: Please review policies below before committing to a workshop. If Rebuilding Exchange needs to cancel a workshop, we will notify you 24 before the class and give you the option of refund or reschedule;If you are unable to attend your one-time workshop, email us 48-hours before the class starts. If you are unable to make your series class, email us one week before the class starts; andMaterials are included in the fee for the workshop.
