Join Councilmember Trayon White in collaboration with Crystal McNeal of the Davon Thomas McNeal Foundation will host the "Back-To-School Backpack Giveaway & Community Fun Day." This event is open to ALL WARD 8 students preparing to return to school and will take place on: Saturday, August 13, 2022 12PM-4PM Bald Eagle Recreation Center | 100 Joliet Street SW, Washington, DC 20032 We encourage all families to register their students that may need a backpack and school supplies this year. To participate in this event, residents must: ***ELIGIBITY REQUIREMENTS*** Be a Ward 8 resident.Present photo ID.Present proof of residency (a current utility bill or lease with a Ward 8 address is acceptable).We are excited to bring this annual event to the community and send our scholars back to school with confidence.
