Description
Ringneck doves ended up reproducing before I figured out dove birth control. I have a white one that I handfed and an "orange" (light brown) that isn't handfed, but is also pretty friendly. They are incredibly gentle and have pretty much no defense, so not good if you have a dog with prey drive.
Experience with ringneck doves preferred. They would do great in a dove coup or something on a farm, but not necessary. They need to be let out to fly and exercise. Please research first.
Responsible pet keepers only. For friendship and not food.
They are super sweet. They bow and coo to you to show you that you are part of their flock. They make sounds that almost sound like owls.
