Come join Keep Nature Wild Wild Keeper, Lexi for a trash cleanup at Hillandale Park! The Deets Who: Everyone! Bring friends, family, leashed/friendly pets, and more friends! When: 09/17/2022 from 9am-11:30am Where: Hillandale Park 27560 Tremaine Dr, Euclid, OH 44132 Stuff to Know: September 17th is National Cleanup Day! From coast to coast, organizations and individuals volunteer to clean up our parks, trails, beaches, mountains & open spaces. World Cleanup Day is one of the biggest civic movements of our time, uniting 180 countries across the world for a cleaner planet. I’m excited to be a part of this event, and Hillandale Park is our challenge! Hillandale Park is located in Euclid, and it consists of a baseball field, playground, and a parking area surrounded by forest. Just off the side of the field, is the coolest feature of the park! The Hillandale Bridge is a half-completed bridge that was abandoned in 1929 when the market crashed. Bags and gloves are provided. Please wear closed-toed shoes as there is a lot of broken glass in the area. Wear outdoor appropriate attire and your Keep Nature Wild gear is always a plus :) Shoes/boots and long pants are always recommended as well as a hat or some form of shade. We will provide bags and gloves. Feel free to bring trash grabbers and buckets in lieu of bags. You don’t need any sort of pass or permit for this event. Cleanup events are inherently dangerous and can be strenuous. We will be reviewing safety precautions prior to the cleanup.
