All are invited to the Wash Park Social hosted by Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado (VOC)! Stop by any time from 4:30 - 6:30 PM to learn about VOC's nearly 40-year history and how you can help care for Colorado's parks, trails, and open spaces. Food will be provided along with beer from Woods Boss Brewing. This event takes place at VOC's office, located in the historic Dos Chappell Bathhouse in Denver's Washington Park. Parking will be available and no RSVP is required. VOC is the state's largest and oldest outdoor stewardship organization. Each year, they host nearly 100 volunteer projects to engage everyday people in caring for Colorado's public lands. Since its founding in 1984, VOC has engaged 128,000 volunteers in over 1,000 volunteer projects for a donated labor value of $26 million. At this event, you can learn more about volunteer opportunities with VOC, as well as other neighborhood resources provided by the nonprofit including room rentals and local art exhibits.
