She has worked with patients with cerebrovascular disorders, such as strokes, as well as spinal cord and head injuries. Helen has experience in the management of quality care and patient satisfaction for medical surgical departments. She is an instructor of clinical nursing at LSUHSC and is entering her last year of the Nursing Ph.D. program with a research interest in post-stroke depression and unilateral neglect. Pamela Pourciau, MSN, APRN, NP-C, SCRN, NC-BC, CPE- has been in the field of nursing since 1975 and has been an advanced practice RN since 2012. Her experience includes emergency, critical care, and neuroscience nursing. Pam has over 30 years of experience in planning, developing, implementing, and presenting at continuing nursing education events. She currently works at East Jefferson Neurological Associates, Inc as a nurse practitioner, primarily providing post-stroke care to patients. Dr. Chad Domangue- is a nationally recognized neurologist, pain management specialist, patient advocate, entrepreneur, and speaker from south Louisiana. As an Interventional Neurologist and Pain Management Specialist, Dr. Chad has exhaustive training in identifying and administering treatment for conditions that trigger severe and chronic pain and decreased functionality. He is double board-certified in Neurology and Pain Management and is board eligible for Clinical Neurophysiology. These distinct credentials allow Dr. Chad to assess and furnish his opinion as both a pain specialist and a neurologist.
