Black August is a time to lift up the revolutionaries who fought for Black liberation and were unjustly treated as enemies of the state - some of whom remain "political prisoners" today. Join us to learn more about this movement and how it is intertwined with mass incarceration in Nebraska and the U.S. The program will include short presentations and group discussions.
This is a hybrid event - when registering, choose whether you will participate via Zoom or in person.
