Becoming an Outdoor Woman: Fall Field Day

Join other women interested in the outdoors while refining your skills or learning new skills! Interactive learning sessions lead by staff members and volunteers will include trap shooting, archery, fly fishing, and more! Lunch will be included with registration. A donation of $15 is suggested for the field day to help cover costs of the meal, ammunition, and other supplies used. Any additional funds will be donated to the Dubuqueland Pheasants Forever chapter and Friends of Dubuque County Conservation to support future environmental education programs and conservation-related activities in Dubuque County. Tentative Schedule: 8:30am- 8:45am Registration (Field day will take place at the Izaak Walton League @ 11001 Thunder Hills Rd, Peosta, IA 52068) 8:45am-9:00am Introductions & break out into sessions Sessions (Participants will rotate through all 4 sessions throughout the day, sessions include trap shooting, archery, fly fishing, and learning session about reclaiming natural areas. All materials will be provided for these sessions. Please wear close-toed shoes and well-fitted clothing for your safety while participating in these activities.) 9:00am-9:45am Session 1 9:45am-10:30am Session 2 10:30am-11:15am Session 3 11:15am-12:00pm Session 4 12:00pm-12:45pm Lunch (Provided by Daryl Biechler & Pheasants Forever) * Please bring your own set of dinnerware for lunch to help keep this as low-waste as possible! Suggested to bring knife, fork, spoon, plate/bowl, and cup. 12:45pm-1:30pm Wrap Up & Optional Networking Time Space is limited, register while you can!
