We all know that change is essential to growth and progress, but in today's world teens are being tested daily on their ability to stay flexible and adapt - just to survive. The more we understand why adults and teens think, feel, and behave the way they do during times of change, the more we as parents can help our teens juggle the impact change can have on them. Change Cycle trainer Jackie Martin will be leading small group discussions with fellow parents to help us unpack the tools we can use to make change just another part of life. The Prepared Parent Series: Every workshop will be a different topic and speaker so you're going to want to come again and again. Topics might include Conflict Management, Leading your Student Through Times of Change, Drug Awareness, and much more! Who is BMore Learning? BMore Learning is a life and workforce readiness non-profit in Forsyth County that’s designed to provide high school students and their parents with the necessary information, skills, and tools they will need to lead their lives beyond graduation. Students will leave more skilled and confident to communicate, make a strong first impression, make good decisions, and to influence others in a positive way. Parents experience a customized curriculum filled with guest speakers, experts in parenting, counseling, job readiness and student strength identification.
