We are an architectural signage company that produces ADA and custom signage for private companies and public contractors. We are seeking a full-time signage install assistant to start immediately. Pay Breakdown: $16.50-$17 an hour Base Pay Work on Prevailing Wage projects Weekly average over-time about 5-6 hours per week Our signage install assistants are a very important part of our company. Our customers rely on the install team tremendously to get the job done professionally and on time. First impressions go a long way so cleanliness and a professional demeanor are needed. This position is suited for someone that needs minimal supervision, as you are out on the field 90% of your day. Time management is crucial along with general construction knowledge of tools and hardware. We fabricate and install a wide variety of signage from room identification, wayfinding directionals, accessible parking signs, monument signs, illuminated channel lettering, cut-out lettering, vinyl, etc. Our installation team installs all the above signage to ADA guideline specifications. We also fabricate and install illuminated signage, which is mostly LED lights and power supplies. Our projects are also statewide and sometimes out of state. Travelling (car or plane) is necessary at some points and overnight installations as well. Job duties include: Receiving daily tasks from Lead Installers Customer communication Critical thinking on site Daily communication to Project Managers Driving company truck Keeping track of tools and hardware Assisting in the shop when your installations are done Required Qualifications: Proficient in English, spoken and written (speaking Spanish is a plus) Good and clear driving record (we will need a printout of your driving record) Some hand tool and power tool knowledge, if not we will train Good communication skills Good organizing skills Some knowledge of construction, if not we will train Must be a team player Ability to think outside the box Good time management Ability to multitask
