I don't look (or play) nearly as well as these cool dudes, but it's what inspires me. I like to jam over looped techno samples and need a guitarist who can appreciate the steady groove. I supply a soundscape with bass, guitar synths and e-drums (ideally a real drummer) alongside the various electronic samples. I record the jam and before ya know it, I've got 10 minutes of cool music. Listen to it, pull from the good moments and then frame those parts for a totally presentable piece for a gig. It needs you though-- • a bonfide guitarist who likes to creatively lay down a barrage of awesome licks. • musical dynamics, changes in feel, completely new sounds & interactive exchanges between us. • it will be entertaining to watch as well as ethereal to listen to. • samples, yes; but with live, Dynamic Intervention. • exploration (improvised imperfection) is welcome. • If you have the slightest inclination to this musical model, I think you'll enjoy the experience and maybe even have fun while seeing if we could work well together. I hesitate to categorize, but I come from the original Ed Wynne/Ozzric Tentacles era (just so you know I'm up there in years (but not in mind!)). A clear head is the key to pulling off this trippy, extremely danceable stuff with a steady groove--each piece could easily fill 5-15 minutes at a local venue.
